Why learn classical hatha yoga?

Since our birth, we have been paying attention to the outside world, how to eat, walk, and talk. Today, almost everything we do is an imitation of someone else. Maybe a unique combination, but still, the pieces are copied from somewhere. So if we pay attention, we do not know how we have become who we are today. It feels like we do not even have time to pay attention to ourselves in this fast-paced world.

Classical Hatha Yoga is an opportunity to turn inward. It is an opportunity every day to set aside the imitations, and to pay attention to the core of who you are. It is an opportunity to find stillness and silence within you in this noisy world. It is an opportunity to rebuild yourself more consciously. Only you can do this for yourself.

The practices help to bring balance, energy, and awareness. A 21-week full-time training in the Sadhguru Gurukulam, Isha Yoga Center, India, has helped me experience them myself and prepared me to offer them to you without any modifications.

The classes are conducted without contact between teacher and participants, and no props, so that the practices function as an inward process. Each workshop offers you a complete yogic practice without having to attend regular classes.

Yoga originated some 15,000 years ago as a technology to explore the full depth and dimension of being human. This technology survived these many millennia simply due to its efficacy. My connection to this tradition is through Sadhguru, and his insights and guidance make this process available to modern times without losing its essence.

Sadhguru

The practices we offer are structured by Sadhguru, a yogi, mystic and visionary.

We teach Hatha Yoga as a transformative process. The transformation will not only be on the level of your body but in the way you are.
